About this app

This application is dedicated to people who practice an outdoor activity (mountain biking, running, hiking, trekking, sailing, canoeing, skiing or snowboarding, etc.), sometimes alone, and who want to easily reassure their relatives or friends, warn them of a difficulty or delay, or ask them for help if a more serious problem occurs. Ride! is able to quickly send 3 levels of messages, with date, time and location. It also offers the ability to automatically send reassuring messages every 'n' minutes. In addition, a very effective fall detection function can be activated if necessary. If we add the fact that this app can be associated with the BLE 'flic button' (https://flic.io/), everything is then met to allow you a safe ride!

Choose 1 to 5 contacts and define the messages associated with the green, orange and red buttons. Then, simply press one of these buttons and your contacts will receive your predefined message with the current date and time and your location. This is the easiest way to reassure your loved ones, your family, to advise them that you will be a little late, or to ask for help if you really have a problem!

Activate the automatic mode, set the delay in minutes, and your contacts will automatically receive a message with date, time and your location, every 'n' minutes, to reassure them throughout your ride.

Turn on the fall detection feature, set the appropriate sensitivity for your mobile phone and specify a delay before sending an alert. Then, if you fall during your ride, the App automatically detects it, plays a warning sound and, if you do not press the green button before the set delay, sends a specific message to your contacts, with the date, time, and your location of course.

And if you have a 'flic' button (https://flic.io/), you are able to use this application in the ideal conditions! Hang this button on your clothes, your bike, where you want, and simply press it once, twice or hold it down to send "green", "orange" or "red" messages to your contacts. So simple and so reassuring!
