Installed the app with my new Carrier HVAC system last Feb. Not very intuitive but good for simple things like changing temperature. Doesn't stay logged in all the time and that's a pain, needs humidity controls and a more intuitive design with more programmable features. If Carrier wants to compete with Nest this app needs a serious overhaul.

Simply put you need to invest more money in a quality app. Landscape only is bad. Login every time is terrible. Overall the app isn't as intuitive as it could be. Get those redesigners working, otherwise it is Nest time for me.

I actually have a Carrier Cor thermostat but the app won't work on my LG-Enlighten. This one however does what I need it to do. It isn't the most sophisticated app but it does allow me to make the changes that I want to remotely.

Hard to believe this was made by a corporation as large as Carrier. The interface is awful and not intuitive at all. In fact, it looks like a child came up with the interface. I have the Carrier smart si thermostat which is made by ecobee and identical to their smart si but yet there's a software block that doesn't allow me to use ecobees better app. Something needs to improve.

Only can be used in landscape mode. Needs a geo-reference capability like all modern thermostat apps. The app just feels old and considering how much I paid for my new AC unit and thermostat, the software should be top notch (this is not a small company). I feel like this app and the webgate should look more professional and modern.

Wont permit me to login with the app and locks the website acct out on every attempt.
