About this app

Car Pool is an app designed to help reduce the cost and maximize the convenience of transportation by creating a medium which facilitate people coming together and sharing a ride with others in privately owned and operated motor vehicles.

This app was created to facilitate a network of private individuals who wish to Car Pool and offer / accept rides with other car poolers within the network.

Car Pool Drivers make their Vehicles available and offer rides to Car Poolers, and the Car Poolers will make an agreed contribute to the cost of petrol etc.

Plase note that Car Pool is NOT a Taxi Service.

Persons choose to Car Pool with others to reduce transportation costs, maximize on the convenience of the Car Pool model and reduce the amount of petrol used in the country on a daily basis.y day.

Also by NOT driving themselves and Car pooling with others, the Car Poolers are providing valuable assistance to other motorists by reducing the congestion on the roads.

Car Pool is also for persons who DO NOT own a motor vehicle. This group will help to reduce the pressures on the overburdened public transport system.



HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you run the Car Pool app, it will identify your current location and you will be able to see a list of all Car Pool Vehicles that are nearby to your location and are available to Car Poolers.

It doesn’t matter where you are (At home, at the office, at the movie, at a party, at an event…ANYWHERE!). Also, it matters not the time of day it’s a 24 X 7 service!

You will see the available Car Pool Vehicles presented in a list.

The list will give summary information for All avaiiable Car pool Vehicles including the name of the road that it is currently located on alonng with the estimated distance that it is from you,

All registered Car pool Vehicles will have the Car Pool logo beside their details in the be list that the car Poolers will view,

You will then be able to view the details of each Car Pool vehicle that appears in the list. You will see information on both the driver and the vehicle.

You can decide which Car Pool vehicle you wish to use and then you will be able to communicate immediately with that Car Pool Driver either by calling the driver directly or by sending him/her text messages.
