Learning to make calligraphy can be said easy-easy difficult. Need special skills and need a super high patience, for good results and can be enjoyed by people who see it. An artist, though, may not be able to make Arabic calligraphy, because making Arabic calligraphy is not as easy as painting nature on canvas. So it takes a long time for the results are satisfactory. The key one is patience, and patient.

If my first friend would learn to make Arabic calligraphy, I suggest for my friend who will learn how to make Arabic calligraphy that can be done at home. There are several types of letters that are used in making Arabic calligraphy that is the type of naskhi, tsuluts, farisi diwanni, diwanni jail, khufi, riq'ah, and muhaqqoq.

There is a need to pay attention first tewrlebih before starting to make Arabic calligraphy, among them are:

- Qalam
Qalam is another name of a pen or stationery calligraphy, qalam is usually made of bamboo, rattan, wood, pen hero (which has been formed ends), brushes, stems of forest ferns, and so forth.

- Ink / markers
Ink can be friend use ink hero brand or ink is usual for bolpoint refill or can also use chinese ink. If you can not use it you can use a tip marker made flat and slightly tilted.

- Media
The medium used in making Arabic calligraphy is diverse. For newly learned buddies try to make it on thick paper to avoid penetrating when using ink and smooth paper surfaces. Like HVS, manila, cardboard, and so on.

- Desk / pedestal
For newly learned buddies it is better to use a table made of glass that already has lights underneath, so this makes it easy for my friend to learn Arabic calligraphy by tracing. The important thing if you can try not to trace again.

Thank you, hopefully useful.
