If you like to venture off of paved rodes, and hike, bike, off-road, this is the best map out there! This map had more details of trails, paths, routes, than any other map of this area. The publisher is receptive to comments and requests for additional areas of map coverage. There is no better topographic map.

Trails marked not found on any standard OHV Maps I have. (I have a several in print and digital format). My main use for California Trail Maps are for Aircraft Crash Sites and Offloading in SoCAL. I need to know where the military boundaries are. You don't want to wonder off into a LIVE FIRE Military Training Mission. Nothing like the Military Police chasing you down in a Black Hawk. Been there, done that! Frequent updates made and new trails added. There's a little bit of a learning curve associated when using the maps, but follow their detailed directions, it'll help sort out the confusion. Keep up the AWESOME WORK!!!

This is not a free app. It is subscription based service at a rate of $25 a year. Note to the devs make your landing page look like it is worth paying for. Currently it looks like trash and i am not willing to pay to find out if the rest of the app is too.

Please update the app so that it hides the images folder and CA Trail Theme folder. These 2 folders show up in the photo gallery. Its pretty annoying because when picking or sharing a photo you have to scan through all of the map legend icons.

Very complicated to install. I paid $50 for the full upgrade and access and I still cannot get any California trails to load. Not user friendly.

The overlays are the best out there for the region. All trails are legal and zoom levels don't crowd the map!
