If you are a driver, licensed by a local UK council authority, then you can use the CabApple app - its simple to use when you want, no need to leave your existing taxi firm.
Maintain your metered rates and flexibility while providing passengers the ability to book and pay (CASH or CARD) via an app.
You have of course heard of many other Cab Apps taking UK Cities by storm as users wish to have the convenience of booking a taxi via their Smartphone, doing away with the hassle of calling 3 or 4 different taxi firm numbers until they find one available or being unsure if the fare they are paying is regulated.
While some of those App services provide riders with excellent choice in big cities and usually with excellent rates, it does have its drawbacks, and we've all read the stories in the press.
cabApple operates outside of big cities, offering riders the same convenience to book via their smartphone BUT also allowing them to be safe in the knowledge that their driver is a local council authorised driver. For the drivers, we believe its important to provide this safe, regulated service and to maintain your local rates.
If you are an existing registered driver for your local council in the UK, you can subscribe to the cabApple app and earn extra where and when you want. By being a member of the cabApple family you can remain with your existing taxi firm but still benefit from reducing 'dead millage' on your return journeys and accepting fares from outside of your area and being available on an app booking system in your area without the need for expensive equipment or sign-up costs. If you decide you want more cash or when things have gone quiet on the rank......just open the app!
To join is easy, we charge a very small monthly subscription fee for access to the cabApple app plus a small commission on each journey. Credit/Debit cards as well as cash payments can be accepted directly in the App and we will invoice you at the end of each month for the small subscription fee and commission fees for the trips that the cabApple app provided for you. Work when you want and where you want, just open the app and passenger requests will arrive.
Upon successful registration, we will provide you with marketing material in the form of cabApple business cards and a cabApple magnetic sticker for your taxi. All we ask is that you provide your riders with a cabApple business card and display the cabApple sticker on your vehicle. This helps promote the service to passengers - if all drivers do this, our network of passengers will grow quicker and all drivers will benefit!
We believe in local council approved, authorised, safe drivers and maintaining your local rates so we've developed a system that allows passengers the convenience of booking a taxi by app without the need to search and phone multiple taxi companies - Drivers are happy, Passengers are safer!
