Real Estate Open House USA lets you search MLS real estate open house information in the entire US (50 states and DC). Search for properties (Single family houses, apartments, condos, townhouses, multi-family houses, land, etc.) for sale with open house in any dates in the next two weeks. Specify one or a combination of property types, including single house, Condo (Condominium), Apartment, multi-family or land. Pick any state and then optionally select one or more towns/cities to be searched in only. You can further narrow down the selection by specifying minimum and maximum prices, minimum and maximum living spaces, numbers of bedrooms and bathrooms, and maximum age (earliest built year) of the house.

The search returns a list of real estate properties matching the criteria to be displayed on a summary screen. Each entry in the search summary screen includes the main picture of the property, the listing price, the date and time of the open house, the address, number of bed rooms, numbers of full bath room and number of half bath rooms, its living space and the year the house was built when applicable (e.g., such information will not be available for land). You can click the map link which shows you a map with the exact location where the property is located. The map feature is provided by Google Map which allows you to zoom in, zoom out, navigate, switch between street and satellite view, and drag a little man to walk on the street, etc. You can also click the picture of the house or apartment to step into Zillow’s website to view further detail information of the property.

From the summary screen, you can pick any entries that you would like to see the open house for and add them into your itineraries. An itinerary consists of a list of properties that you would like to visit on a day and you can see a map which has marks of all the destinations in the itinerary. The App allows to have one itinerary each day and you can save up to 14 itineraries to plan for all the trips in the next two weeks.

Version 3.0 has a new MLS real estate search engine which is able to search from multiple MLS (multiple listing services) databases including Redfin.com, Zillow.com and Realtor.com real estate database. It also allows for retrieving of up to 50 listings for each search.

Version 4.0 has a “Find Route” feature which assists you to find a best route to visit all the open houses in the selected itinerary. To use it, just click the “Find Route” icon in an itinerary. The App will find a best route (minimum total travel time) to visit all the destinations in the itinerary based on the open house starting and ending time of each destination and the travel time matrix between each destination. A maximum of eight (8) destinations can be included in a calculation.

Version 4.1 allows the optimal route result to be displayed together with the itinerary map.

New features

Version 4.0 includes a “Find Route” feature which assists you to find a best route to visit all the open houses in the selected itinerary. To use it, just click the “Find Route” icon in an itinerary. The App will find a best route (minimum total travel time) to visit all the destinations in the itinerary based on the open house starting and ending time of each destination. Version 4.0.1 fixes a few UI issues in Planned Route display.
