This app is abysmal. The claims that you can "Slowly turn on your lights" or that it "Gradually brightens in the morning like a gentle sunrise" are lies. There is no setting that actually does this and it has no numerical indicators for the brightness or temperature (so it's difficult to create your own set of schedules at an incline/decline). The app also often forgets changes made to it and the RGB controls do not integrate with Alexa at all.

Update: 11/20 dropped to 4 stars because the app still hasn't been updated to allow you to stay logged in. A basic function that shouldn't have ever been an issue & should have been fixe. I followed the instructions, and found everything worked flawlessly. I had 0 issues connecting the bulbs, and 0 issues with the app. The setup went without a hitch. The app is easy to use, and just works. Update: Seems to be a bug where the app doesn't stay logged in. I've had to re log in at least 4x already.

Update: app is terrible. Lost my scenes multiple times. Logging in every day is terrible and should be changed immediately. Just buy the Phillips hue bulbs which are supported appropriately. You get what you pay for. App generally works as expected, however, it is constantly logging you out, making it harder to access your lighting controls. This should be fixed. Also consider widgets or integration with flic, something to allow one click control of your lights.

When it works it's great. However, it still signs me out all the time despite using it daily. Alexa integration is pretty limited and not as intuitive as you would expect - I have to tell Alexa to turn off each individual bulb rather than the group. After recent updates the app will frequently say certain bulbs are on when they're not, and no amount of toggling in the app will actually turn them on. Last time I tried using Alexa to turn off a bulb others started flashing like crazy.

The app has some things going for it like ease of use but definitely still has some issues. I've already contacted Bulbrite with my request for help and am currently awaiting reply. The issues I'm having is like others to where the scenes I create disappear. Create scene, then create schedule to use that scene, then go back to the scene tab to review scenes and the scene has been deleted. The other is a suggestion for updating. The temperature and the brightness adjustments have a slider scale and a 5 preset radio buttons for selections. If you wanted to make the brightness on multiple bulbs to say 3%, this is hard to do as you can't tell exactly where 3% is. Interestingly, the amazon Alexa app lets you do this to this granularity.

Missing features. Won't save bulbs sometimes. No ability to change color of bulb like the box says. Needs work.
