This App used to work fine end 2019/start of 2020 and was great but now..... You are able to connect via Bluetooth (blue light on generator stays on instead of flashing) to the generator however the App does not recognise a Bluetooth connected device. I have tried multiple devices and it has always come down to the App not working!

Well, as everyone else says, this simply doesn't connect to the generator via Bluetooth. On top of which, I start the app and it just sits there spinning it's wheel until I exit and try again. Briggs and Stratton are my favourite maker of small engines - I have at least five. If they keep ignoring this problem, I'll buy Honda next time.

Doesn't connect with generator. So far very useless and upsetting because its the only way to monitor output, hours ran, oil changes and other important maintenance related items. I hope they resolve this issue soon.

The app does not appear to be working on my android device will not sync with generator, BUT works perfectly well on my IPAD so I will continue to use it with my Ipad. Would appreciate it if you can look at fixing the android syncing problem and the need to enter a pairing code is ridiculous and probably part of the problem as no such rigmarole was need when syncing to Ipad just had to hit scan for products in Manage Products and it connected no problems. I believe the fact you are wanting a paring code in the android app is the problem.

For anyone having issues connecting to your generator. You will need to download the previous version. 2.0.4 I downloaded from apkpure worked first to me. Hopefully the app will be fixed in the next update.

The app simply doesn't work, because it reports that the generator is not connected to the phone via bluetooth, even though the app and the generator both report that it is. Briggs & Stratton have effectively rendered their $3000 Q6500 generator useless. You need this app - the generator itself has no screen so the app is the only way to keep track of hours run for maintenance, troubleshoot problems etc. They have sold a product that is not fit for purpose. My generator will be going back for a full refund. Do not buy a B&S generator.
