Really well done, also helps me when people ask where should go on the weekend. With Vancouver getting so many breweries it helps having something to tell us which ones we should check out next!

This is the best brewery passport app that I've found! It's very clean and easy to use. The geo locator is precise and it even shows you which brewery you're closest to . It's a great way to explore an awesome brew scene, keep up on current happenings in the community and get a prize for doing it.

I love that this app makes it so easy to explore beer local to Vancouver. It's neat when I'm out and don't know where to go to be able to look at the map and pick!

Was almost done and had to replace my phone and all my stamps were GONE! I love some of the local breweries, but due to the disappearing stamps and NO news in over 2 months it has been uninstalled...

A fun way to check out the new and exsiting breweries in Vancouver. I wish more cities had something like this. Checking in with a QR code or location was a snap.

About this app

Brewcouver was launched as a collective project by Vancouver’s brewers and community partners to pay homage to our brewing past and create awareness for the booming beer scene that has overtaken the city today.

Vancouver has a deep brewing history dating back to the late 1800’s when John Muench founded Vancouver Brewery. It became Star Brewery in 1890, then Interstate Brewery and finally Lucky Lager Brewing Co. in 1950. When Lucky Lager closed in 1985, it was followed shortly by Hazel Dell Brewing and Salmon Creek Brewing in the 90’s.

Today, Vancouver is home to many breweries with taprooms and locations open for business with many more additional start-up brewers planning to roll their doors open in the next couple years.

Brewcouver is a FREE passport that allows you to explore all of our breweries from historic Downtown Vancouver to the neighborhood brewers serving beer lovers far and wide. Visit them. Sit a spell. Enjoy a beer brewed right here from ingredients sourced here by people who live here.

Once you’ve visited them all, collect your FREE Brewcouver prize at Ben's Bottle Shop or The Thirsty Sasquatch - iconic Vancouver taprooms conveniently located on either side of Vancouver. After that, refer to your passport for other prizes and rewards available from our community partners who support local beer and are helping make this passport possible!

Whether you’re visiting from across the bridge or across the world, CHEERS!

Brewcouver is made possible by the generosity of Great Western Malting Company. Our heartfelt thanks to them for supporting our local craft beer community.
