About this app

One of the most debilitating motor symptoms of the Parkinson's disease (PD) is the dysfunction of the March.
Despite the benefits of current pharmacological and surgical treatments for patients with Parkinson's disease, the difficulties of the progress and effectiveness of treatment options remain limited.
There is evidence supporting the use of spatial and rhythmic external stimuli to increase regular Cadence and stride length. A portable device that is available for daily use of the patient has not however been reported, the effects on the progress of a new device that generates rhythmic auditory signals matching the frequency of passage to the auditory rhythm with the aim of improving walking in patients with parkinson's disease were therefore analyzed.

The purpose of this research was to study the effect on gait in PD subjects with and without freezing with and without the effect of the DBS, a new portable external auditory device that generates rhythmic auditory cues that help the patient to walk in a normal manner.
