About this app

myTV creates a virtual television network with the media folders available on your Android device, GoogleTV, server, or external hard drive. It organizes your media into channels, then stores those channels in memory and plays them randomly/automatically when the network is started. Think of it as your own personal television network with only the things that you actually want to watch! Great for anyone with an expansive media collection!

Instructions Setup

1) Click on "Manage Channels".
2) Click on "Add Channel".
3) Name your new channel and click "Next".
4) Navigate to the folders containing your media. Remember that the media folders must have no sub folders. The show names will automatically be added to the channel depending on the name of the folder selected.
5) When you are finished, click "Submit" to save the channel." Repeat steps 2-5 for as many channels as desired.
6) Click the "Back" button and then click on "Start TV" to start your television network.

Features

1) Watch your shows in real time just like regular television!
2) Toggle prime time viewing, letting the network pick shows that are newer when time is closer to prime time!
3) "Lock" a show and play as many random episodes of that show until it is unlocked!

New features

Fixes for version 1.31) Added ability to pause media
2) Updated external hard drive permissions after android update
