App itself is well designed but the numbers are odd.... maybe boxing is different in the UK? (I just assumed that's the creators origin because of the accent). The most widely used number system at least in the U.S. is 1 - jab to head, 2 - straight right to head, 3 - left hook to head, 4 - right hook to head, 5 and 6 - left and right uppercuts, 7 and 8 - left and right jabs to body. At my university we have Boxmasters that have the numbering marked on separate pads if you need a better idea of where they go (search Boxmaster tower). Maybe there could be a selection at the start for which numbering system you prefer as well as southpaw in both of those different systems as well.
