Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Blazing Skies Clock Widget on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

A relatively simple clock widget that shows the time, date and week number.

Time and date formats are configurable, of course, and the widget exists in three sizes:
3x1: Shows time, date and week number
2x1: Shows time and date
1x1: Shows week number

Upon touching the time and date area, the widget _should_ launch the built-in alarm clock (or the app containing the alarm clock). But only if possible, of course. This should work on most phones.

Upon touching the week number area, the widget will launch the built-in calendar app, if possible.

!NOTE!
Should you run into problems with the widget, and want to file a report, please send me an email instead of using the comments system, because I cannot reply to them.

New features

v1.3:
- Added a "Reset to default" button to the configuration dialog. Its purpose should be self-explanatory.
- Implemented Google Android Backup for default settings, so that it will automatically backup these settings, and restore them if you install the widget on a new device, or have to reset your current device to factory default, or something similar.
