If you Just bought one of Piper's product my honest advice is return it and buy something else, unless you want to have your blood pressure go crazy everytime you trying to reconnect to your home wifi. I can't imagine how they can't figure out a way easier way to connect to home wifi . It is a nightmare....

One of the worst technology products EVER. Do yourself the favor and save yourself from headache. Don't buy these cameras. If you just did and are here to download the app, don't, go right now and return your product. Buy a Nest or Ring. Horrible app, software, customer service, the whole nine yards, the whole enchilada, it's all garbage

The alarms themselves are good. Picture quality is ok, alarm is loud and it's sensitivity is really good. The problem is the software. The app is dated, not changed at all in years and lacks fuctionality. No schedules for it to run automatically, instead the only option is smart arming through LIFE360 Tracker. Still lacking functions to auto arm (stay) when home. No IFTTT (why was this removed?) No Smart Home integration (SmartThings, homekit?) Great hardware held back by terrible software

The video playback audio/sound pops on and off. The video clips are to short.

After IFTTT was removed, this app has gone back to what it was a few years ago, which isn't good. Before, I really could only recommend Piper to people I knew were fairly tech-savy as well as patient. Now, I cant recommend it at all, because it lacks major features that similarly priced, self-monitoring systems have. Things like reliable self-arming/disarming, widgets for app functions, and integration with other smart systems. Also, I really like the less than a week notice for the IFTTT loss.

13/1: Can't connect to server! App useless again. // Previous update causing app crashing replaced with new one. System works without any issues now. Previously sometimes happened that app didn't log in at first and I had to reopen app for it to log in. If this doesn't occur anymore, I'll update rating to 5*. Important note: Piper team replied to my e-mail quickly and gave me info about what was happening. They wrote me again when new update was available. Plus points, very good customer service.
