About this app

BirdieEyes is an innovative app created for the golf clubs and has features that contribute to more efficient club management and a better golfing experience for the club members and its guests. In the app, the clubs also get the opportunity to communicate directly with their members and guests. BirdieEyes has been developed in collaboration with the Norwegian Golf Federation.

This is what you get for free through BirdieEyes:
- Tee-time booking (BirdieEyes is integrated with Golf Box).
- Create a new round of golf in no time: select course, playing partners tee and the game format you want.
- Use the digital course guide and get all the relevant distances.
- Enter scores easily and fast in the digital scorecard.
- Submit scorecards to get your handicap regulation via your GolfBox account and be notified when your handicap is updated.
- Easily record any stroke, including fairway hits, bunker shots, chips and putts, to get a thorough statistic base.
- All your scorecards are stored online and you can easily access them and check your stats.

Additional Features:
Augmented Reality (AR) function where you through your cell phone’s camera can see the distance to, and the direction of, any hazards and greens. You can also use AR to orientate yourself around the golf club to find things like restaurant, driving range, pro shop, toilets etc.

BirdieEyes requires an GPS-enabled iOS phone or tablet. Continued use of GPS running in the background can reduce battery life, so be sure to close the app when not in use.

Payments. If you add your eeZee Pay account or register in eeZee Pay mobile payment solution with your bank card, you’ll be able to make purchases for most of club products (balls in golf dispensers, coffee in coffee machines, drinks in vending machines) on a number of golf clubs. The clubs with Payments feature are marked by a special icon.

The application is now compatible with Android wearable devices.
Make sure that your mobile phone is paired with your Android wearable then install the app and start a round on your phone. Now you are able to enter scores for yourself and for other players and track results at a glance on your wrist. Both simplified and advanced score entering is available.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
