This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BiiSafe Buddy on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Luckily I know I left it in my car because otherwise I wouldn't find it. Last time my Google Pixel phone found it was at Christmas time when I installed the app.

Wants access to sms and camera without explanation, uninstalling. Also, app is grossly large (34MB).

Notes:
The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with your Buddies. The maximum range is 30 meters / 100 ft.
Application activates GPS - location system only when needed - this minimising the extra power consumption.
