No relevant information from Delta boarding pass. The scan returned a numerical code, but did not decode any information at all. I got the same information from other barcode scanners, but at least they did a library search to see if they could make sense of it. Your app did nothing at all.

About this app

ReadMyBop scans and decodes the data stored in PDF417 barcode printed on airline boarding passes according to IATA standard for BCBP. The raw content encoded is displayed as well. Other barcode types will be displayed as raw data. It displays up to 2 segment per boarding pass.

It recognizes 10 digit ITF-14 baggage tag barcodes.

Remarks about Boarding Passes and the PDF417:
- The boarding pass barcode is read in airline and airport operations by laser line scanner not by cameras, like a mobile phone.
- Different airlines use different ECL (Error correction levels), but always less than 4.
- It is common to get errorneous readings and sometimes even no reading (eg. EasyJet) when using mobile phone cameras. This is not a problem the app can solve. It depends on the quality of the image taken of the barcode by the underlying ZXing lib.

Please dont rate this app because of errorneous readings.
