About this app

Based on John Alden Knight's book on Solunar Theory, "Moon Up Moon Down", Fishcast use the position of the moon and sun, at your location, to forecast the times that fish and wildlife are most active. Fishcast is very easy to use. No solunar tables to adjust and interpret for your location.

Use Fishcast to plan your day of fishing and hunting. Be at your best spot at the prime times for wildlife activity. If you fish tournaments, use it to make sure you are on your best spots at the best time or help determine whether to stay or go to another spot. Mark your calendar for the best days to be fishing or hunting.

Fishcast uses a location and date to show you you the best periods of the day. Have a fishing vacation or tournament planned away from home? Fishcast can show you the best times for any location and date. The app shows sun and moon rise and set along with major and minor periods of activity. A graph of the day's activity is presented to make interpreting the data easy.

Fishcast is very easy to use. Tap on the location name to change locations or add another. Tap on the date to select another date or swipe left and right to change date by one day or swipe up and down to change date by one month.

You can be assured that Fishcast is safe. In order to offer Fishcast for free, it does use very non-intrusive ads. Because it uses ads and uses the internet to look up time zone information, it must access the internet. No personal information is ever used. Give it a try. I think you will find it helps you catch more fish!
