This app was great at first, now it plays up a lot especialpy after doing every update. Have been trying to log in to it since yesterday, had to go through their website instead. Also, I wish the balance was more accurate. It only shows what the balance was when I topped it up. Although they keep bringing out updates for this it still needs a lot of work. It's supposed to be a quicker experience...

App hasn't worked for days, THE most frustrating thing on my phone, absolutely nothing convenient about it, never works, I have to use my smart card and web browser to top up. Either unable to display account or card details, and when you do eventually get on, it fails the top up, and you run out of tries and locks you out. And no, I don't want contacting to try and fix this problem, because if you could, it would be fixed already, I'm just uninstalling the app and using the web browser

Doesn't work anymore. As with all the other recent reviews,I can't log in since the last update. The British Gas app has never been fully functional, sections not working, glitchy, random logging out. British Gas, you need to put some investment into your online services, considering you're one of, if not the biggest suppliers in the UK, they are at a lower level than our local convenience store.

Having had a smart meter installed 3 weeks ago I thought everything would be great and as advertised, I would have full access to my account and be able to see how much energy I was using. But iv only been able to log in about 4 times , now it just times out and crashes. Just not good enough. If this doesn't work how can I be sure the meter is working accurately? Let's hope someone from British gas reads this and actually does something. Wouldn't that be great.

This app always closes as soon as you go to top up. It's so annoying. It never shows you an accurate balance. So you will never know how much is actually one the metre. The balance shows £0.00 when money is on it. The old app was much better. The only good thing is you dont have to go out to top up. If there was a no star i would press that.

Updated rating: No sorry, its same as last one. Latest update is even worse. They appear to have attempted to streamline the log on process but it takes forever, when it works that is. Only let me in twice so far, without having to reinstall the app, and I check it pretty much every day. Please get it sorted, you have lots of online only customers for whom the app is invaluable! Not good enough.
