This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ScoutAR - turismo - rifugi e cime del Piemonte on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

Quest'applicazione sperimentale di realta' aumentata (AR) consente di localizzare: percorsi- cime-valichi-fortini-rifugi d'alta montagna-punti dínteresse naturalistico, senza l'utilizzo di una connessione internet utilizzando uno smartphone con caratteristiche minime (Bussola,GPS e G-sensor) .. la trasposizione in realta' aumentata viene calcolata senza ricorrere a server esterni o a sistemi giroscopici (non presenti negli smartphone piu' comuni) ed e' bene quindi non fare affidamento al 100% sulle infomazioni visualizzate (e' possibile inoltre "markare" fino a 9 punti specifici personalizzati per poterli ritrovare in un secondo momento, per esempio: posizione motocicletta, ritrovo comitiva etc... etc...)

Come si e' gia precisato ... si tratta di sperimentazione, l'elenco delle localita' verra' modificato nel tempo cercando di includere le piu famose del Piemonte.
