Howard County has partnered with Bewegen Technologies to operate the best bikeshare system available. Marked with a lightning bolt decal, the electric-assist bikes ride like a regular bike and don’t have any complicated gears or buttons to learn. Just simply begin pedaling and the bike will provide an extra boost to get you moving and up hilly terrain without breaking a sweat! For those looking for a more traditional ride, Howard County Bikeshare also has standard 8-gear bicycles available throughout the system. Whether on a electric-assist or standard bike, you can’t help but smile as you ride around like never before.

Going for a ride is simple – with a network of 9 stations and 78 bikes, riders can register for an Annual, a Monthly and a Pay Per Ride Pass on the website (Pay Per Ride Pass also available on the app), or for a Pay Per Ride Pass at a station kiosk and start riding within minutes.
