This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BeThere24 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

The free BeThere24 app gives mobile users an easy way to stay connected with loved ones and friends with whom they have a care-giver status. BeThere24 is a non-intrusive, non-visual and non-wearable monitoring system for the elderly and infirmed living independently. No longer must they feel alone, for the BeThere24 system connects care-givers with their loved ones affording comfort in the knowledge that they are fine, or, if serious issues should occur, alerts them, and the 24/7 monitoring service to send immediate help.

BeThere24 system monitors several states of activity within the home setting, using motion and pressure sensors. No visuals are needed to determine the health and vigor of the elderly living independently. Through the discreetly place sensors, the most important activities are carefully monitored, these include sleep habits, hydration, medicine taking, eating, personal hygiene, physical movement and more. The smart system accumulates data over time and tabulates the normal levels of activity and intake within these states for the particular client, assigning scores 1-10. Over a 7, normal activity is essentially being maintained. Scores in the range of 4-6 indicates some form of weakness in normal activity, suggesting some care may be needed. Scores below 4 indicate a more serious problem and may require immediate care or even an emergency response. Use of the BeThere24 system and app increases the quality of life of the elderly, brings family and friends together, saves the family money over the alternative of constant home care or other nursing solutions, and may even save lives.
