Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ALCulator BAC Calculator on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

Have you ever been at the pub and wondered if you've had a few too many and are too confused by the beer math required to work it out yourself? Well now you can get a pretty good idea using the ALCulator. The ALCulator is a tool that estimates your Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) and does the beer math for you using your weight and gender.

The ALCulator was written for myself to save me having to do the beer math in my head when I was the designated driver. I have been using it for several years now and I want to share my efforts with the rest of the android community for less than the price of a beer. Of course I do not recommend you use this app for such purposes, and take no responsibility for any decisions you make after you have had a drink or two. The ALCulator uses your gender and weight to determine an approximate BAC based on the drinks you have added. The application automatically determines what drinks are currently contributing to your BAC so you just need to add each drink as you are drinking. The application comes with a default set of generic drink types and sizes, but these can be modified (in-app purchase required) to suit your drinking habits.

NOTE: that this is a new release of the ALCulator app due to the fact that I could no longer update the previous released app. If you have already purchased the older version of the app simply email the receipt for your purchase to me and I will send you a promo code to get the premium in-app purchase for free.
