Defeats the purpose of being a WiFi remote when it only works when you are at home AND connected to the same WiFi ONLY. Don't advertise the switch staying you can use it when you are away and on data. I might as well get up and do it myself. Noticed the prior reviewer has the same issue. I truly hope Bayit will fix this issue. I now have one pricey useless outlet.

Complete and utter garbage..it connected before the recent app upgrade, now it can't find it. Before it still sucked, but at least it connected. Whenever I rebooted my router, the switch would not roam and try to find it again. Sometimes it would disconnect on its own, and well, when you're away from home, trying to use this to turn on your AC and it does not work...it is garbage.

This app is barely functional. I have to restart it every time to get it to do anything. The UX is mostly very bad, too. Nothing is intuitive. If you are extremely patient, you can sort of eke out some basic functions. Doesn't appear to have been designed or tested in any meaningful way. The hardware is decent, which makes this even more disappointing.

Just doesn't work. Piece of total crap. Can only connect when you are on a wireless network (not cell phone) and doesn't work at all consistently. Get the highly rated Belkin model instead. The Bayit people should be ashamed of their horrible product!!!

Only works when I'm at home, but then it will work whether I'm on my home WiFi, on 3G, or on 4G. Totally useless.

I've had this for quite some time...over a year at least, maybe two. Works okay but like others I have to force stop and restart almost every time I use a function outside the daily set timers. I can't say I dislike it because it has been very useful for my purpose. The software is just problematic and even after sending info to support a long time ago there seems to be no one updating or addressing the app issues. Did the person who wrote this app get wfr'd with no plans to backfill, lol?
