This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MBTA GPS - Track the T on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

I road the 62 from alewife to park street. This app never saw it. At the same time a rival app tracked the same bus flawlessly. I gave this two stars cuz it did track a 57 run a few days back. But I don't need to tell u, my fellow commuters...sometimes ain't good enough.

Love this app but latest update cuts off bus info. Can no longer see the number of the bus when you zoom in.

Literally just doesn't work. Verifies trains and buses exist but provides no info. on where they are or when they come. The interface in powerfully unhelpful and provides no directions. Is this app still being tested? I'm dumbfounded at how bad this app is for such a simple task.

Terrible. Hideously programed app. Can't cross check information with another source and come back to this app without reentering all my information.

Track the location of any MBTA bus, subway, or commuter rail vehicle in realtime. Use MBTA GPS to determine when the route you need will next be arriving at your stop. See real time travel alerts as well, to see if anything will affect your commute.

With the newly introduced Station Mode, you can see all relevant information for any station. Does your commute involve multiple stops? No problem, add as many stations as you'd like. Station mode provides all of the relevant information you need with live data directly from the MBTA. Available for any stop or station in the MBTA system.

Features:

Vehicle Locations:
- See the locations of all vehicles for a specified route in realtime. Destination/vehicle number for all vehicles is displayed as well (when available). Vehicle locations for Green line trains available on the above ground branches only.

Notifications for Arrivals:
- Long press any arrival prediction for any bus or subway route and you will receive a notification for it! Notification includes the line, direction, stop, and predicted arrival time.

Line/Stop Locations:
- Select a bus route or subway line, and see the entire line on a map as well as all stops for that route.

Travel Alerts:
- Select a route and view all the current MBTA travel alerts for that line

Arrival Predictions:
- Get arrival predictions - provided by the MBTA themselves - for any Red, Orange, or Blue line stop, or any bus stop as well. Green line arrival predictions are not available.

Favorite Route:
- Set a favorite route and have all line and all vehicles displayed immediately when you open the app!
