The app is rickety at best, the call center is always preoccupied, and the impatient drivers give you all of 30 seconds to get to them before driving off. I have an issue practically every time I try to book with them, and subsequently only use them as a last resort. I can appreciate that a small local business may not be as polished and efficient as a large-scale one like Uber, but Village performs nowhere near what you'd expect of a modern taxi company.

Useless booked a taxi and nothing arrived for over an hour and eventually they cancelled the booking without telling us.

The app has recently been updated and it is terrible. The last 3 pre booked vehicles have turned up late ... had to ring each time to chase them up. The map showing where you vehicle is doesn't work as it was eventually sitting outside my house but the said it was in the city centre ... I even showed the driver
