Great dive watch - all the other watches in the same price band have a cryptic user interface that looks like a watch from the 80s. This watch has a great graphical user interface that is easy to understand and navigate. The app has worked great for me and I am able to synch the dives in a heartbeat.

Update: December 7 update had not improved sleep and activity tracking, which currently is an unacceptable 0% accuracy. Took a few tries to get watch paired with app. Will update review after diving.update: Seems okay for diving although the time and depth don't align 100% to what my Cressi Neon says for the same dives. I also bought this for sleep tracking and it has not tracked a single night of sleep since I bought it 3 weeks ago? Is this an app or hardware issue?

v3.1.5 | Mission 2: I can't access 'device dive sites', 'tides', 'weather', 'watch face' or 'personal' menus. I get the error: "Please provide the location permission to access Bluetooth." What does that mean? Location permission is already granted. It all worked before this update. 🤬 ■ Answer to developer's reply: You didn't read my review carefully: "Location permission is already granted." Also, if I don't want notifications, why are all those permissions necessary for the app to work?

Buggy sync, both with the watch and with the cloud. If you have several dives to sync, it takes from 10 minutes to half hour to sync, many sync attempts end with an error. After you have managed to sync with the watch, it takes the app ages to show your dive profile. The progress bar keeps rolling and rolling, although the log is on your phone already. Hope the devs will fix it in later versions, now this app is too buggy for everyday use. Also use the app from shearwater to compare, works fine

Stops pushing notifications to watches. App restart (force stop) helps for another several hours then have to do it again and again. Replying to reply: Battery optimization is disabled for the app; manual app force stop actually fixes the issue. When the issue occurs (no notifications on watches), I can bring the app to the foreground and eg successfully sync, but the issue would not get fixed unless app or phone restarted.

Dive watch itself is good. However this app still lack out of a lot of functionalities like social platform integration. Honestly speaking the notification functionality is quite awful, as if the developer is not even trying to make it stable and useful. Eg: let user choose what notification should go through. Hopefully next time this app could allow picture upload in dive log and also social platform sharing. As a dive watch, the functionality is basically there. So 3 stars.
