About this app

Coptic storms are a weather phenomenon reported in the Middle East region, and particularly the Eastern Meditteranean for thousands of years.

Coptic storms are mostly characterised by strong winds, with a lot of fine dust in the atmosphere. Sometimes, these storms are accompanied by light rain, but rarely heavy downpours. This makes a real mess of your car, your patio furniture and your swimming pool. The winds are also often strong enough to strip the leaves off the trees and shrubs, which makes the job of pool cleaning even harder.

The dates given in the calendar are only a rough guide, but experience tells us that they are accurate to within a couple of days either side.
