Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AlbertaRELM on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Way less options than full website. Just use the website for everything. Also call center is useless anyone I have spoke with hasnt even used the app.

Riddled with bug's, poor description of what your purchasing when it comes to your license. Website is just as problematic, you wont allow me to change my postal code to the correct information and same with my drivers license. If my address is in Alberta, why would you put my license as Newfoundland!! Sure you can download regs... I still prefer a paper copy, make cross reference in different sections alot easier. So many updates... Still sucks. I suggest Ihunter app. It got regs and maps😎

This is a companion app. It is not meant to replace the full website online, it's here to view your license and to provide access to the regulations offline. If you are expecting more then I don't know what to tell you, it works fine for me and I'm not sure why people seem to have so much trouble with it. You need to sign up for your profile online, this app only lets existing users sign in.

Don't need to. All of the negative reviews say that I am not going to get any use out of this app. While in the AppStore, I read all of the reviews. Even the 3 and 4 star reviews had complaints about basic features. It became clear the App was a downsized clone of the Alberta RELM website, which is a painful experience to navigate for all the reasons listed by those that took the time to experience it. I will learn from their pain and will delete it before I abuse myself further.

Perfect, can download regs offline and no more paper. Does exactly what it says and easy to use

Important information:

- The only acceptable form of electronic licence is through the AlbertaRELM App and hunters must be able to produce the electronic app or paper licence when requested by an Officer during field compliance checks.

- For licences that require tags please remember that the associated tag forms part of the licence and must be physically produced when requested.

- Alberta’s Hunting and Sportfishing Regulations prohibit the carrying of someone else’s licence.
