Arthur Henrique Ramos de Oliveira Melo, better known under the name Arthur, born August 12, 1996 in Goiânia (Brazil), is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder with juve.
His highly technical style of play is reminiscent of former Barcelona player Xavi.
Arthur began playing with his hometown club Goiás Esporte Clube at the age of twelve. In 2010, he was spotted by the Grêmio who recruited him.
In January 2015, following his performances in the São Paulo Júnior Cup, Arthur was promoted to the first team by coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
In 2017, Arthur becomes a regular at the initial eleven of Grêmio. In his first Copa Libertadores match against Club Guaraní, he was named "Man of the Match". He won the Copa Libertadores in 2017, beating Argentina's CA Lanus in the final.
On March 11, 2018, FC Barcelona announced Arthur's arrival for July 2018. The transfer amount is € 30 million, plus 9 in variables.
On August 17, 2018, Brazil coach Tite summons Arthur for the friendly matches against the United States and El Salvador. It begins on September 7 against the United States (victory 2-0).
