About this app

At alMinaret, our mission is to make it easy for our beloved Masajid and Islamic Organizations to connect with their communities better, insha'Allah.

You download the free alMinaret app and "follow" a few of your known Masajid or Islamic Organizations and you get to see all the activities from all those Masajid/Islamic Orgs right on a single app, so it's very easy to keep track of what's going on around you and get involved in those activities, insha'Allah.

You can also favorite a Masjid or Islamic Org and can easily get to see everything that's happening at that Masjid or Islamic Org, including the Iqamah timings at the Masjid so you can make it to the Jama'h.

Push notifications and email notifications keep you well informed about anything new at the Masajid/Islamic Orgs you follow, be it an Announcement, Event, Volunteer Request, Dua Request, etc. You can help event organizers plan better by RSVP-ing for events, signing up to help with Volunteer Requests, or by interacting with others on comments. alMinaret app makes it really easy for the community to be engaged with their Masajid and Islamic Organizations.

alMinaret app also makes it easy for Masjid Admins to post content to their communities using the app itself. This makes it a lot easy for them to get engaged with the community, as they can post information to their communities from wherever they are.

- download the free alMinaret app
- sign-up for a free alMinaret account (so you can follow multiple Masajid and Islamic Orgs)
- start "following" all your Masajid/Islamic Orgs (you can easily "unfollow" them whenever you want)

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
