نصف قرن من تّذوق الأصالة: هناك في عاصمة ال ُقدسية .. تلك البقعة التي تتوسد إرثاً تاريخيا واجتماعيا ، ضارباً في جذور تكوين المعمورة .. هناك على ضفاف أحد أحياء مكة العتيقة.. كانت البداية .. وبين أروقة «حي جرول» المتشكلةُ في رواشينه ملامح حياة الأمس .. وعلى جدران أزقته ارتسمت الملامح المكية الفذة .. هناك كان ميلاد هويتنا قبل أكثر من نصف قرن.. والتي ترعرعت ونمت.. ثم انتقلت لتبلغ سن ال ُنضج في شارع المنصور. تلك قصة مطعم «فول مكة» للمأكولات الشعبية الذي فتح أبوابه لأول مرة عام 1952م.. في يو ٍم ما من ذلك العام كان لنا موع ٌد مع ذائقة الأسر المكية، فقدمنا لها تجربة أصيلة وفريدة..تجّلت في طعم الفول الحجازي التقليدي. وبعد 3 عقود كنا على موعد مع عروس البحر الأحمر، لكن الاسم لم يتخلى عن الحنين للعاصمة المقدسة، فكانت المحطة الجديدة بمدينة جدة بإسم «فول بانعمه»، ولم ُتغير السنوات النكهة الأصيلة التي نقدمها على أطباق من الحب والأمانة، إذ حمل مؤسسي المطعم والدي وأعمامي رحمهم الله، على عاتقهم أنُ يقّدموا لزبائنهم ما يرضونه لأسرتهم. ولأننا نعتز بقيمنا الأصيلة وماضينا العريق، والذي امتاز بتقديم أشهى المأكولات الشعبية. واليوم نواصل معكم حكاية أصالة نكهة توارثناها وتعلمناها ونفخر بها. فالشكر أولاً لمن وهبنا حبكم وثقتكم.. ثم لأصحاب رحلة الكفاح أسرة بانعمه رحمهم لله جميعاً .
