Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Personal Recipes on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Even though I have my screen orientation locked to 'landscape' on my Asus Android tablet, the screen rotates to 'portrait' - which means I have to turn my tablet sideways to use the app. I have an attached keyboard so this doesn't work well. Any advice on how to fix this?

About this app

This is an app for keeping track of your own recipes for the food you liked.

It will provide you with a way to add a new recipe title, ingredients, and directions for how to cook the meal.

Also, it allows the user to add a picture for the meal, this picture is ( optional ), so phones without camera can still use the app because the app allow the user to browse for an image from the gallery.

The app is capable of exporting the recipe with it's image to a PDF file. All exported recipes will be saved in this directory

/sdcard/Personal Recipe/

And for any problem, please email me with a detailed explanation of what went wrong so I can fix the issues.
