This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mobile Lucida on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Great app except for one fault that I can find, it elongates the image when you are drawing it, uninstalled and got a refund, will pay for app again when this problem is fixed.

Mobile Lucida is the perfect drawing app for new and seasoned artists! Mobile Lucida isn't just some drawing app where you draw on your screen, it is an app that allows you to create REAL beautiful pictures!

For thousands of years artists have used devices to help superimpose a real image on a piece of paper, essentially allowing them to trace it. This has allowed them to create beautiful life-like paintings and drawings.

The Mobile Lucida app does the same, except with your phone or tablet. Mobile Lucida uses an image on your device, and superimposes it over a live view of your camera. This allows you to see your hand AND the image while you are drawing!

Along with superimposing the image, Mobile Lucida lets you add a variety of different filters to assist you in drawing. It also allows you to change image opacity, rotation and size.

To use it, simply open the app, select an image, position it, and click draw! From there you can change the opacity, add a filter, turn on the flashlight to light up your drawing area, or start over with a new picture! The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

Whether you are a new artist, professional artist, or even a baker, Mobile Lucida is for you! The Mobile Lucida app makes a great addition to any artist's toolbox.
