About this app

Is there a better way to track movement my train ticket for which PNR is currently waitlisted (WL or RAC)? Yes, Why not just leave your mobile number and PNR with "Track my PNR by SMS" app and we will inform you at regular intervals of PNR status by sending free SMS to your mobile number. That's not it, its absolutely free for getting live PNR status by SMS and tracking your PNR by SMS. Sending SMS for PNR would create offline tracking of PNR .

Lets say you have booked a ticket for some one and they would need latest PNR status of the ticket once the chart is prepared. Yes, just use Track PNR by SMS and give the mobile number for which SMS needs to be sent in Track PNR Status option or you can either send SMS by logging into the app.
SMS can be sent through out the day for the live PNR status.

Track my PNR by SMS currently hosts three features:

1) Getting live PNR status by SMS and tracking your PNR status by offline updates to your mobile number by SMS
2) Train schedule, which shows the arrival and departure time at different stations
3) Live running status of the train

PNR Status and Offline Tracking by SMS is a feature enable to track your PNR status by providing the mobile number and PNR. You would be getting offline alerts through SMS for the PNR.

Train Schedule is a feature in which you can view the train schedule and arrival departure times for each station

Track my Train shows the live running status of the train. By providing train number and the day of the starting of the train, live running status of train will be displayed in the app. Live status of train would also show the stations that the train is yet to pass. The live running status shows the approximate delay of the train and the current station and the last station which it left and the time to arrive at the next station.

PNR SMS alerts will be sent for all WL and RAC tickets and once PNR is confirmed you will be getting a berth confirmation SMS with the seat/berth number. After Railway chart is prepared you would be getting an SMS about the latest PNR status.
