About this app

The Climate Guide gives you a whole new view of Switzerland’s Jungfrau region. The app shows you where the effects of climate change are already visible, and what scientists know about the subject.

The Climate Guide contains seven climate paths, shown on detailed maps. Each of these paths consists of a hiking route with between five and seven audio stations. The audios which you will find automatically suggested to you on these routes relate to the immediate surroundings. They match facts and landscape and provide information about the climate in the actual locations where the impact of climate change is already evident.

In the Climate Guide, you will also find background texts and pictures about climate change and climate research. Browse through this database, either before or after you have hiked the climate paths.

The content was established by leading scientists from the University of Bern with the help of experienced journalists. They have made climate change fascinating, relevant and easy to understand.
