I needed an offline map for a holiday to Crete and this app was perfect. The detail is excellent, it shows your location almost to the metre, and it was so useful when we needed to get to the other side of the island to get to A&E after an injury. It's database could be better perhaps, but that aside it's spot on.

As far as I'm concerned this is the best app I have - and I have had an iphone 4s and a GalaxyS2, with Memory Map OSGB 1:50 and 1:25 maps, Anquet and various other serious apps. This one is just what an app should be - simple, easy to install and use - no more to say about it. If you know some Greek and you are going to be in Crete try it. I used it from Heraklion westwards to the west coast (north, centre and south) using both the (north) new national road and an across country route via Zaros, Tymbaki, Hora Sfakion to the bottom (on foot) of the Aradhena Gorge. Cost? Not "pretty cheap" - absolute peanuts! We don't like the north coast or the east much so I can't report and I know the roads anyway but a quick check of old haunts shows good accuracy here too.

As a map a crete goes it w as good enough, though no better than the offline google map. I never managed to get places of interest, particularly petrol stations, to show on the map. On more than one occasion the particular place of interest no longer existed. Having said all that it was pretty cheap, so no big loss

Spent two great weeks in Crete, driving all over the island, and thanks to this app it was a pleasure.

This makes searching for locations and points of interest and other features extremely easy. The Dev is extremely helpful too . Well worth it and unique assistance for the island I didn't find anything else like it. I did precache google maps first, but they have less (none really other than the roads ) information for a visitor to the island, this app is much better.
