Roma team is an Italian professional football club based in Rome. Founded by amalgamation in 1927, the Roma have been at the top of Italian football for their entire existence, with the exception of 1951–52.

The club are planning to move to a new stadium, although construction has not yet started.

The Roma club's home colors are Tyrian purple and gold, which gives Roma their nickname ("The yellows and reds"). These colors have often been associated with white shorts. Their club badge features a wolf, an allusion to the founding myth of Rome.
