Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WxReport on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

The WxReport App for your mobile device is your best option to report your current weather on the go.

This app is the first of its kind to introduce in-app weather reports that gets automatically emailed us at Weather Watch. We use these reports to warn others, make forecasts. The information we get is also used to create custom weather alerts to warn others of the approaching dangers. Any major report we receive, we report to Environment Canada on your behalf.

Like most other apps, you need to pay to report your weather or there is a long process. With our app, there is a quick and easy way to report your weather.
