Tabernacle Of Joy Church was birthed on Sunday, March 19, 1978. Our first service was held in the home of our Senior Pastor parents, Minister Larry and Deaconess Beulah Mackey in Roosevelt, New York. TOJ was established under the leadership our Senior Pastor Apostle J. Raymond “Megalos” Mackey I at the age of twenty years young.

The purpose of the church is to minister salvation to the whole man; spirit, soul, and body. This church is designed to bring both glory and honor to God and go into the entire world preaching the gospel and informing the world about the work of Christ as Redeemer. Our purpose and mission is global, fulfilling the Great Commission of St. Matthew 28:18-20. We believe and declare that Jesus said “GO YE”, not stay ye.

We are ministry that is; Spirit Filled, and Spirit Led focusing on the empowerment of the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit, with a strong teaching ministry for all ages. Our Apostle believes and has taught, Information plus Application equals Transformation.
