About this app

The Refresh concept provides a fresh, healthy, made to order alternative to the fast food options typically in a busy food court or public space. The concept introduces the latest technology through cooking and through ordering with iPad and mobile app.

The concept provides a retail component for take home along with a made to order quick serve for customers who want to dine at the location.

The customer will start at either a kiosk using an iPad, or skip the line using the mobile app for ordering and payment. They will pick a menu item that has listed all the ingredients for that menu item or build your own. Once paid, they will receive a printed ticket with all the ingredients for that item off the menu. Then they will go to the merchandiser that contains pre-portioned ingredients including starches, proteins, vegetables, etc. The customer will either put all the ingredients in a basket to take home with them or they will hand to the chef to prepare for a quick, fresh, healthy meal.

The idea is that a customer can have a pre-packaged and planned meal that they can cook at home if they want or they can customize it and make it their own! It is like going to the grocery store but having your meal planned for you by a personal chef.
