About this app

Welcome to the official app for BackInUse. BackInUse is one of the many programs offered by Adelante. We are a nonprofit agency that provides individualized support services for over 1000 New Mexicans with mental, physical, and developmental disabilities, as well as disabled veterans and the elderly. We are known for innovation and Adelante has expanded regularly since opening our doors in 1978 to meet the needs and goals of the people we support.
A big part of the BackInUse program is our computer refurbishing program. Through our partners like Microsoft Corporation, Intel New Mexico, and numerous companies and NM State agencies, we have been able to provide nearly 1,000 computers to individuals with disabilities and of low-income, and non-profit organizations.

Adelante currently provides a wide variety of services including employment, vocational and life skills training, residential services, and volunteer opportunities.

Use our business services - Adelante operates several social enterprises that offer employment while providing quality business services for local companies. We have thousands of happy customers and these businesses employ over 350 people with disabilities. Volunteer - Adelante welcomes volunteers as individuals or in groups to help support our mission. Our staff members and the people with disabilities we support do community service for a variety of causes, too.
