This charitable new Manchester app gives members access to all the best offers, experiences and events in the city - with rewards thrown in for good measure.

There’s a new app in town, and it’s got Manchester at its heart. The I Love MCR® App offers locals and visitors alike the best way to experience our great city.

As well as delivering significant discounts and one-off deals on local restaurants, bars, events and experiences, the app also offers members the chance to donate any savings from featured offers to charity if they wish.

The benefits extend beyond the individual. The all-new app prompts responsible and tangible donations to We Love MCR Charity. Give a little, help a lot. And keep the money in Manchester.

App users have two membership options: FREE membership with access to all the best current offers in Greater Manchester, and also the option to upgrade to VIP membership which gives members access to amazing exclusive offers, events and rewards.

VIP membership is just £5 a month, which users will save on their first use of the app. To guarantee this return on investment, each agreed offer and reward is a minimum value of £5.

Manchester’s emergency services - police, fire and medical workers - will be upgraded to VIP membership for free. It’s a little “thank you” from I Love MCR® for the exceptional work and sacrifice they make on a daily basis.

When developing the app, I Love MCR® CEO Chris Greenhalgh wanted to build a platform which removes any stigma that might be associated with deals and vouchers and instead celebrates the opportunities they can offer.

“Deals shouldn’t tarnish a brand. They’re there to add value and incentivise new customers whilst also bringing business into venues during quieter periods,” he said.

With the amount of new venues opening every week in one of the world’s most exciting cities, it’s easy to for a site to get forgotten about.

Using technology such as ‘Location Services’, the app incentivises people to use offers and experiences nearest to them. The facility also encourages people to shop local and confines the redemption of an offer within a 20 mitre radius of the venue.

Users can also add to favourites and come back later.
