These are beautifully designed cards and there is something for everyone:
the worrier mama, the busy mama, the semi-there mama, the sometimes
unfocused mama, and you get the picture... The affirmations themselves are
both realistic and boosting, may not be for the extra sensitive mama who
doesn't want a single word or thought of negativity (ie "you might get
heartburn, vericose veins, or start snoring like a lumberjack...") - but I
find that you can switch to the front facing picture cards that remain
extra positive when you don't want to read about unpleasantaries. Cards do
include words like 'contractions' and 'God' (unaffiliated to any religion),
if this is a factor for you. Otherwise, this app is ideal for moments of
doubt or get caught up in a busy, negative head space. It can happen to
anyone. You'll want something like this to ground you down again and
silence those voices. For some reason, a few of the picture-facing cards
are a teeny blurry and I don't understand why, but the price is still aces!
