Welcome to the Official Android App for the Deoghar District Rifle Association located in Bilasi Town, Deoghar, Jharkhand, India. We are the first and only registered Rifle Association in Deoghar District. Here you can read information about Organization, Constitution and new events. You can also download new registration ID form. You can communicate with us through contact us page. This Android App is useful for those new shooters who want to try target rifle shooting.
The Association proposes the following:
1. Impart instruction in the use of Fire arms.
2. Arrange for target practice with long range and small bore, rifles, shot guns, revolvers and pistols of non prohibited bores and air rifles.
3. Arrange for suitable ranges for such practice.
4. Arrange for picnics and lawful shooting trips.
5. Render advice and assistance to similar local organizations within the District.
6. To arrange competitions and to enter in competitions as teams and individuals arranged by various Rifle Associations or Clubs in the country.
7. Secure supply of arms and ammunition for members of the Association
8. Impart military education to members of the Association particularly in rifle training with a view to developing in the young generations qualities of fearlessness, discipline, esprit de corps, resourcefulness and spirit of public service.
9. Impart knowledge of physical culture and sports to build up healthy bodies, steady hands, power of concentration, good nerves and self-confidence.
The Aims and Objectives of DDRA are:-
(a) To educate the youth of Deoghar District in marksmanship.
(b) To educate and train citizens in the safe and efficient handling of Arms.
(c) To encourage the establishment of and to regulate the activities of Various Shooting Clubs throughout Deoghar District.
(d) To encourage, organize and regulate Deoghar District Shooting Championship Competitions. There will be two main District Level Shooting Championships:
i. Deoghar District Shooting Championship Competition in Shotgun & Small Bore Events.
ii. Deoghar District Shooting Championship Competition in Air Pistol/ Air Rifle Events.
(e) To make arrangements for training instructors and jury/referees through N.R.A.I. /State Govt. To organize courses of training of civilians in marksmanship with the help of trained instructors.
(f) To secure supplies of Arms, Ammunition, Shooting Equipment and other accessories for the members of the DDRA.
(g) To encourage legislation for the establishment and maintenance of suitable ranges.
(h) To apply for and obtain government grants for securing cheaper and better Arms, Ammunition, Shooting Equipment and other accessories and expansion of Shooting Activities of all kinds and for Organizing District, State Shooting Championship and National and Inter-National Shooting Championship Competitions.
(i) To afford facilities for the control and development of:-
• Shotgun Shooting
• Rifle Shooting
• Handgun Shooting
• Such other items of marksmanship as may, from time to time, be included as thought fit by the DDRA.
(j) To built, construct, maintain and develop range and/ or buildings.
(k) To select teams to represent Deoghar District, and to promote, control and finance visits by such teams.
(l) To do all such acts as are conductive to the furtherance of the aims and objectives of DDRA.
