This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Cake Aide on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. KEEPS CRASHING!! I only started to use this app today. I really wanted to like it & it has great potential but it has 1 major flaw. Whenever a new quote for a project is started, it crashes. This is not worth paying for the subscription if it does not work. I would happily give it a higher rating if & when the bugs are repaired until then it gets 1 star.

loved all the things this app has to offer, sad cause it wont let me open it. On setting up it ask you to fill in profile information and keeps telling me to enter the county I live in and after several attempts it still will not accept it.

It Keeps crashing. I can't make a quote, I can't enter recepies. I wish it wouldn't keep crashing, this is exactly what I've been looking for in an app to help with my cake business. I can't justify paying for aomething that doesnt work when I need it to.

I have been able to add ingredients, equipment and supplies to the lists but when trying to input my recipe the measurements all change when adding ingredients and again when I hit save!. so in a nutshell this app it currently useless!!!!!!!

I can't even use it. It won't let me put a picture to my profile and just freezes. Can't get past the setup because it keeps telling me I left the address blank even though it's not. I tried multiple addresses. I was really looking forward to trying this :/

Can't get past the profile photo part of set up. it either crashes or rotates my photo. Nice idea, wish I could get it work!

About this app

You can store your recipes and work out how much it will cost to make a cake. Allowing you to charge not just your cake is worth but also what your time is worth.

Never miss a repeat sales opportunity with the event calendar which allows you to store important dates for your clients and sends messages close to their birthdays or anniversaries, reminding them to order a cake from you.

Features

1. Recipe Ingredient Store- Let’s you store your recipes in UK or US units of measurement.

2. Shopping list: Select a recipe in the shopping list section to generate a checklist of the items you will require for your baking. This will allow you to run through what you have in stock and tick them off.

3. Quote Calculator- Cake Aide will calculate the cost of the cake based on the cost of the recipes, cost of equipment, time spent on the cake and margin.

4. Conversion tool- Lets you convert measurements using the following metrics:

Cups

Spoon (teaspoons and tablespoons)

Ounces

Grams, etc

5. Timer: You can set the timer as you work to help you guage how long you spent on a cake in total. You can also save time blocks based on activity, for example

- Baking cake

- Torting and filling cake

6. Client Event Reminder

Craft automated emails/text to be sent out X-days before the anniversary of the order due date each year Cake aide will send a message to your clients reminding them to order their cakes.
