Our Alaska fishing lodge and unique remote adventure bundles allow customization and flexibility for all of our traveling guests. All of our trips are round-trip from Anchorage, Alaska and include transport, lodging, meals, activities and basic gear so you can travel light and relax and leave the planning to us.
Planning an Alaska vacation can be a difficult task. Over one million people travel to Alaska each summer. Everyone has a different idea of what their "ultimate Alaska adventure" should be. Our company focuses mainly on exclusive, small group fly in fishing and adventure vacations in remote areas. We appeal to those seeking to get "off the grid" yet still have fine accommodations, excellent cuisine, a variety of outdoor activities and top-level hospitality. We are fortunate to have 40% return guests every year due to our unique ability to deliver quality fishing and adventure experiences that are tailored to the aspirations of each group. The bulk of our return guests are couples and families, although we also host reunions, corporate travelers and special retreats at our main fishing lodge northwest of Anchorage.
Wilderness Place Lodge is our flagship fishing lodge, or "wilderness lodge," accessible only by float plane or helicopter, located 70 air miles northwest of Anchorage, Alaska. The lodge hosts an average of 14 guests, hosted by our friendly staff of 18. River fishing for salmon and trout and lake fishing for northern pike is the main outdoor activity for guests staying at the lodge. We also have 2 fly-out outpost cabins that are unique day trips, or overnight glamping experiences for groups of 2-4. We can customize fly-out guided day raft floats from one outpost cabin upstream from the main lodge. Flight-seeing trips to Denali or the nearby Tordrillo Mountains are a popular side trip for lodge guests looking to diversify their experience. Wilderness Place Lodge is a beautiful river-side lodge featuring deluxe, private cabins with bath scattered on the wooded 10 acre property. The main lodge is the rendezvous place for r&r, libations, and all meals provided by our talented chef team of 3. Our Alaska fishing lodge packages are all-inclusive from Anchorage and can be customized for any duration stay. We have venues for all ages and abilities and our personal guide team focuses on making your experience on the river the very best possible.
