Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ReefCast on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Reefcast is awesome and very accurate, however a short time after subscribing to an annual term it will no longer let me view as it says I haven't subscribed. No big deal, call/email for support...that's where the problem lays...I have yet to speak to someone on the phone, or receive an email reply...

It probably would be good if it actually worked. I tried creating a login and it didn't do anything. I tried on the website and on the app and neither works. Get your website and app working and I'll change my rating...

Pick any point on the water and the simplicity of the ReefCast design provides the key weather information you need in one easy graphic, without unnecessary features you will never use.

While other Apps provide the standard NOAA Wavewatch III® forecast and buoy data, ReefCast goes one step further. The ReefCast Interactive Model shows a more accurate 3 mile by 3 mile forecast that is based on our proprietary software model. The ReefCast Ensemble Model will then simultaneously display the confidence you should have in the forecast for your selected location. No other forecasting tool gives you this essential level of detail.

With the basic app, you can:
