This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TAXIMKE on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. There was no way to sign in - FB option didn't show when pressed; Registration failed because of "# already in use" error; but then Sign-in was greyed out, also unavailable. No other options existed for access - so uninstalling.

The app is greatly improved from when they first started it, but it's still got a ways to go if they want to compete with the ride sharing services. However, despite the improved mobile experience, it still took way too long to get a cab. Lyft showed 8 drivers close to me, and only two Taxi MKE drivers sort of close to me. Overall, IMO, you will usually have a better experience with Lyft or Uber, unless you only have cash for your ride, then this is a satisfactory alternative. Keep improving it!

Wouldn't work. It insisted on location services all the time and access to all personal info on phone such as pictures, contacts and files. I would never use this app. Gave up and got an Uber.

Always good ride experiences and great pricing, but app has a tendency to crash or hang.

I called a cab, I was told there was none running. I installed this app my taxi showed up in less than 5 mins!

This app is garbage (and their phone line is staffed by rude, unhelpful people). I waited over an hour, re-requested a taxi halfway through that because it canceled my request, and then finally gave up and downloaded Lyft. I made an account with Lyft in 2 minutes, and the driver picked me up in the next 2 minutes. I REALLY wanted to support a local business, but TaxiMKE made it impossible to do so.

To begin using the TAXIMKE application today:
• Download the free app
• Enter your phone number
• Validate with the code sent to your phone (via the text message you receive)
• Add your name and receipt email
• GPS will locate you or enter your pickup address
• Enter your destination address (this allows us to provide an estimated fare amount)
• Choose various payment types or in car
• Book your trip (reservations can be immediate or for a future time/date)

On booking a reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation number, along with an update when your vehicle has been assigned. From here you can monitor the progress of your vehicle as it moves towards your pickup location. The TAXIMKE application retains a history of your previous reservations (up to 30 days) for expense management and to quickly rebook the same trip with the push of a button. You may also create a list of favorite locations (Home, Work, etc.) to speed up the booking process.

You can also customize your orders by selecting the number of passengers, preferred vehicle type, and preferred method of payment. These preferences can be saved to your account profile for future bookings.
